Isadora’s Birthday Dance Spectacular!

It is my birthday next month and I wanted to throw a party and provide all of the entertainment, so I am! Following on the path that I have been building, I am hosting another showcase packed with top talent, stretching even a bit further this time. This is a chance to see live performances from the US, UK, France and South African all from your home.

The show is on 17 October 2020, live on Zoom, show starts at 11:30 Pacific Standard time/ 19:30 British Summer Time, check your time zone for your time.

Tickets are sold on a sliding scale to allow people to pay what they can afford. You can buy your tickets here. You need to have a ticket to receive your Zoom link. All Zoom links will go out 2 days before the show.

I love this photo so much, because this dancer seriously, is one that is such a joy and fun to watch perform. She loves to connect to her audience and she is just so charming. She is also the reason I started these shows, so it seemed so fitting to bring her back for my birthday celebration showcase! So I give you, the award winning performer, teacher and one of the hosts of Raqstalks , Faizeh!!! She will be bringing us some beautiful American Cabaret dance.

Sunny Singh

I fell in love with at Sureya’s Charity event a few months back and I knew I just had to have him come perform for us! I give you Sunny Singh! Sunny Singh a international performer teacher based on london. Has been dancing since as long as he could walk Teaching internationally as well as performing. Resident performer at the world famous Madame Jojo’s and founder of bhangracize, bellygoglo and aquafloat concepts. Currently teaching live classes on zoom, Sunny has a unique style and collaborates Bollywood Bhangra and Bellydance.


Greyson Von Trapp

This is another performer, I found online and I wonder how I did not find them sooner!I give you Greyson von Trapp! Greyson von Trapp is an internationally renowned, multi-award-winning transnational fusion dancer from North Texas. His amalgamate of dance influences is based in classical bellydance, West African, and contemporary modern dance. He is currently finishing up his degree in Dance Studies, as well as choreographing for the International Dance Company at Texas Woman’s University.


In a case of wonderful community, Nina from our previous show, turned me onto this fantastic dancer, and now we get the privildege of having her dance for us! Coming to us from Las Vegas! Mylissa is a professional dancer and teacher in Las Vegas, she will be bringing her amazing talent to us with the hope to brighten up our day.


Thelma Rose-

We are officially adding a new country with this talented and wonderful performer. I give you Thelma Rose.Thelma Rose is a Johannesburg based professional belly dancer teacher, choreographer and performer. She has a passion for Egyptian style oriental dance and has undergone extensive training with local and international master teachers. In 2010 she trained the winner of Miss India SA on her winning talent piece. She made the cover of raksAfrica magazine as the rising star in 2011. In 2012 she founded the Alimah Roses Dance studio that trains in Johannesburg.

She has performed and various events, local and international stages. In 2014 she was crowned the South African Drum Solo at the Rhythms of Raq Festival winning her own drum solo, Black Rose, composed by Chronis Taxidis Tabbal. She has travelled throughout South Africa offering oriental dance workshops and performing at festivals, annual shows and events. Currently she is the oriental dance teacher of Five6seven8 dance studio and choreographed for Oriental Fire dance troupe and based in Johannesburg, also offering private classes. In 2019, she was honoured with being one of the judges for the Miss Belly Dance South Africa. She has an energetic, poetic and captivating stage presence that radiates her passion for dance.



I found Kim on Instagram thanks to the Social Shimmy and just fell for her and had to share her talent! Kim is an award-winning dancer, teacher and choreographer based in the south east of England. She fell in love with bellydancing when at age 4 she saw a bellydancer on TV flipping coins on her stomach – Kim declared ‘That’s what I want to be when I grow up’. It took 3 full decades before she even began the journey to realising this dream, but she is now having the time of her life exploring this wonderful art form. And she is very excited to perform for you tonight!


Laetitia Hanna-

I was actually turned onto this talented dancer, by the equally wonderful Dom Locke, and I just can’t wait, to bring you another performer from France Laetitia Hanna! Laetitia Hanna is a fusion bellydancer living in the south of France. She started teaching herself bellydance and especially metal bellydance in 2015 before joining a bellydance class in 2017. She then started taking tribal fusion classes with Tribal Bounce School in Marseille (France) along with numerous bellydance, indian and contemporary classes and workshops with teachers from all over the world. She especially likes to dance to metal and epic instrumental music but also likes traditional middle-eastern music.



Originally from Colombia, but currently based in Bristol, Ceci’s movement style of fusion dance incorporates elements of theatre, performance art and contemporary dance Innitially starting belly dance in Panama, after theatre and flow toy explorations she’s been training and dancing with Pearl Boheme since 2015 and loving exploring more contemporary and gothic styles. She is a joy to watch with a deep emotive style.

Melissa Belly Dance-

Melissa Belly Dance world famous Youtube Sensation and creator of the belly dance style Tribal From The Trap. Melissa has been performing and teaching for many years and has teacher trained many of the dancers and belly dance teachers in the uk and abroad.  She has her London based studio where she teaches, live streams and has online classes available to students, along with hosting one of the UK’s biggest events throughout the year.
